IOM in the framework of the HELIOS Integration Project, and in collaboration with seven (7) Municipalities across Greece and the Cities Network for Integration, led a photographic journey to the cities of Athens, Heraklion, Ioannina, Katerini, Livadeia, Piraeus, and Thessaloniki.
In total, 38 amateur photographers, Greeks and refugees, participated in this collective photo initiative that aspired to initiate a dialogue on the perceptions of city identities and highlighted aspects of peaceful coexistence between refugees, migrants, and host communities.
The last stop of the journey was Athens while the exhibition has been presented in Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Livadia, Heraklion, Thessaloniki, Katerini and Piraeus.
