The Greek Language School of the Municipality of Neapoli – Sykies, which has been operating since 2009, was included in the UNESCO Database as a good practice of adults’ literacy.
The database consists of 228 practices from 97 countries and is the first time to include a Greek relevant practice.
Non-native speakers (migrants, expatriates, etc.) residents of the Municipality of Neapoli – Sykies have the opportunity to be taught the Greek language. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced – level classes.
The lessons take place at the 3rd Primary School of Sykies and at the City Hall of Neapoli – Sykies.
