Description
As part of the intercultural approach of the Municipality of Ioannina, the city established the Intercultural Center for Social Integration “Academy” to welcome and provide information and counseling to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. The Intercultural Centre also improves living conditions, through cooperation with all social services of the municipality and supports the evaluation of social welfare programs.
The Centre provides interpretation and intercultural mediation services for all services of the municipality and organizes social and cultural activities. The services provided by the Centre are accessible in 7 languages.
