The Cities Network for Integration (CNI) took part in the process of comments submission for the development of the National Integration Strategy for asylum seekers and recipients of international protection.
The National Integration Strategy, that was prepared by a working group set up by M. Sofia Voultepsi, Deputy Minister of Migration and Asylum in charge of Integration, was put to public consultation through www.opengov.gr from 7 to 21 January 2022.
Suggestions/comments mainly focused on the role that municipalities can play in reaching the goals described in the Strategy and on the need for specific funding mechanisms/financial tools to support municipalities in realising the actions described under strategic goals.
